This Privacy Policy explains how PT Coco Total BBQ Indonesia (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit bbq-charcoal.com (the “Site”) or contact us about our BBQ charcoal products.
1. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to provide and limited technical data needed to operate the Site.
- Contact & Free Sample forms: name, company, country, phone number, email address, and the message or request you submit.
- Direct communications: information you send us via email, WhatsApp, or phone.
- Analytics & technical data: standard usage data collected through Google Analytics 4 (page views, referring URL, device type, approximate location, anonymised IP) and Google Search Console (search queries leading to the Site).
2. How we use information
- To respond to quotation requests, sample requests, and inquiries.
- To send shipping documents, pro-forma invoices, and order updates to confirmed buyers.
- To improve the Site, measure marketing performance, and detect abuse.
- To comply with applicable Indonesian law and export regulations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
3. Cookies & analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js, ID G-WL7DZGJDRC) to understand aggregate traffic. Analytics cookies are set by Google and may be disabled in your browser. We also use Google Search Console, which does not set cookies on visitors. We do not run third-party advertising or retargeting pixels.
4. Third-party processors
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the Site and our business:
- Web3Forms — delivers contact and sample form submissions to our inbox.
- Google (Analytics & Search Console) — site usage analytics.
- Freight forwarders, banks, and customs brokers — only for confirmed export orders.
5. Data retention
Inquiry records are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up and reference. Records related to confirmed export orders are retained for the period required by Indonesian tax and customs regulations (typically 10 years).
6. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over encrypted channels. Access to inquiry records is limited to authorised staff. No internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights

8. International transfers
We are based in Indonesia. If you contact us from outside Indonesia, your information will be transferred to and processed in Indonesia and by the third-party processors listed above (which may be located in the United States or the European Union).
